Technology & Science

In the past decade we have completed many projects for the Department of Energy, the Department of Defense and Sandia National Laboratories. These projects have ranged from simple tenant finishes to very complex clean rooms.

A partial list of completed projects for Sandia National Labs would include: Transfer Technology Theater, Acoustic Test Facilities, Anechoic Chambers, Containment Technology Facility, Independent Vulnerability Assessment Facility, Neutron Measurement Lab, Weapons Primary Production Lab Build Out, Process Development Lab, Pulse Reactor Facility, Radioactive and Mixed Waste Management Facility, Liquid Effluent Control Facility, High Speed Rocket Sled Track, Earth to Orbit Launching Facility and the Integrated Manufacturing Design Facility.

Manufacturing & Industry

We have worked closely, for the last eighty years, with a wide range of architects and design professionals to help build New Mexico's industry. We have completed many projects for Sandia National Laboratories, General Electric, Signetics (Philips Semiconductors) and Intel.

Precision of execution is how K. L. House Construction Company, Inc. continues to operate. It is a must when building such facilities as the Neutron Generator Facility or High Speed Rocket Sled Tracks for the Department of Defense.

Schools & Education

Over eighty years ago we decided to direct our efforts toward commercial construction and we have continued this thrust to the present time. Within that direction, public schools, university projects, federal and state buildings and many types of private sector structures have helped to give us a broad range of experience in all areas of major construction.

K. L. House has proudly contributed to more than 20 structures to the physical plant at UNM. The structures include: Family Practice Complex, Ferris Engineering Center, Mechanical Engineering Center, Basketball Arena (The Pit).
